SuperOffice 3.1

SuperOffice, with its shared database, combines all the basic tasks that every business professional must perform on a daily basis. SuperOffice places critical and updated information at each person's fingertips and gives company wide visibility to all customer related information.

When SuperOffice was first launched in 1990, it aimed to dispel the myth that computers and data are complicated. Its designers wanted you to have more time to spend building relationships with all your important external contacts and have immediate access to valuable information about your market, services and products.

Version 3.1 is still incredibly easy to use, but also includes more functions and features than before. SuperOffice 3.1 is not about word processing or spreadsheets. SuperOffice 3.1 is a "network-ready" business information management software for both multiple and single users on Windows and Macs.

Companion

Last month PC Plus produced a Companion CD to introduce you to all the new features of Microsoft's Windows 98 operating system. This month we have an updated version covering previously unreleased software and changes to Windows 98 since the latest release candidate.

In broad terms it covers the entire OS, but assumes that you have some understanding of using Windows 95 - it does not, for example, cover drag and drop, context (right mouse button) menus (as a concept) or tell you how to create Shortcuts! However, where useful, such as in the Accessories guide, we have covered everything that the operating system now offers, so you will find a brief mention of Paint, for example. In these cases we have concentrated on the new additions, but given mention of the existing ones for the sake of completeness or for the non-Windows 95 users who are considering upgrading.
